This virtual meeting is an opportunity for NAREIM members to ask questions on the calculations and methodology behind the 2025 Compensation Survey and to hear and share with fellow members best practices around completing the Survey.
 
This 60-minute Q&A is an opportunity to ask Ferguson Partners how to define and calculate key concepts, such as how different vehicles are treated for the purposes of carried interest and promote. Members can ask any question about the Survey, from bonus pool methodology, LTIP performance or the treatment of deferred cash in annual bonuses. This session is an open Q&A format just for members.
 
Please note, this meeting is only open to NAREIM's Executive Officer and Talent Management/HR groups. Members of NAREIM's other functional groups will be denied access.
 
This virtual meeting will NOT be recorded.

​​Together with Scott McIntosh, Director, and Charlie Apfelbach, Managing Director, of Compensation Consulting at Ferguson Partners, the NAREIM Compensation Committee are pleased to provide NAREIM members an opportunity to ask questions about the Compensation Survey methodology - and share practices as to how best their firms complete the Survey each year.
 

Key areas of focus include:

  • Carry projections: How different types of vehicles are treated and how to successfully complete Part D in relation to carry and promote

  • Carry: Best practices in getting access to and providing carry and promote projections for the Compensation Survey

  • Deferred cash: An LTI incentive or short-term compensation?

  • Your questions
