The 60-minute virtual meeting is taking place over Zoom. NAREIM will share meeting access information with registered attendees.

This virtual connection will take a deep dive into SFDR best practices for U.S. funds, focusing to understand the landscape of article 8 real estate funds in the U.S. and the types of characteristics these funds are promoting. 

Issues to be raised include:

SFDR

  • What type of characteristics are being discussed/proposed?

  • What challenges have you faced with SFDR reporting? 

  • What are you doing with industrial funds/properties? 

  • What are best practices you have identified/used?

  • Who are you using to support you?

ESG Backlash 

  • How do you think about SFDR and article 8 & 9 funds in light with ongoing ESG investing backlash in the U.S.?
  • Have you received anti-ESG questions, DDQs or RFPs?
  • ​Have you changed your business strategy as a result of this backlash?
